West Suburban Medical Center – 4th Floor Renovation

SUMMARY :

The existing hospital building to be renovated was constructed in the 1920’s. Each patient room was made into a private room and modernized to today’s standards. The project included 65 patient rooms and all the required support spaces. The nurse’s station was positioned in the center of the building and provided direct views to each corridor of the unit. Doctor’s charting and staff functions were located behind the nurse’s station allowing for a public/private barrier for the patients and their visitors.
